Government against IPOB stay at home order
The Chairman of the South East Governors association and Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi, today said the governors of the region are prepared to fight against the IPOB sit-at-home law enforced on citizens, seeing it as satinic and stupid . Umahi complained that the sit-at-home order by IPOB, if not ended by the five governors of the region will end up shattering the economic development of the state and pursue other investors from the zone. The governor commanded the abrubt seizing of shops owned by traders who will not open up for businesses on tomorrow because of the stay at home order. He equally ordered for an immediate firing of civil servants who will not resume work tomorrow, and called on security chiefs in the south east zone to release security officers all over the streets to control breakdown of law and order.
